Louie and Pete's Hot and Spicy Green Beans

4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped

3 cloves garlic, sliced 

1 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced 

1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced 

1 habanero pepper, sliced 

2 pounds green beans, trimmed 

1/2 cup store-bought Szechuan sauce 


  1. In a large stove-top wok or large skillet over medium-high heat, add the bacon and cook to render the fat, 5 to 6 minutes. Add the garlic, onions, bell pepper and habanero. Saute until crisp-tender, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the green beans and saute until tender, 10 minutes. Add the sauce and stir to combine. Serve.
