Ingredients

  • 1 loaf crusty bread, sliced into 1/2-inch slices
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Place the bread in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake until bread is golden brown and crisp, about 8 to 9 minutes.
