Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Butter 3 loaf pans.
  2. For the topping: Mix the breadcrumbs, sugar, walnuts and melted butter together. Divide among the bottoms of the prepared loaf pans. 
  3. For the batter: Mix the flour, sugar and baking powder together. Mix the milk, melted butter, eggs and almond flavoring together. Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour. 
  4. Cool after baking and put in the refrigerator in the pans to chill. It is easier to slice!
