  • 2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves
  • 3/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil 
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts 
  • 1 pinch salt 
  • 1 pinch pepper 
  • 3 cloves garlic 
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan 


Place the basil, oil, pine nuts, salt, pepper and garlic into a food processor. Blend on medium until the sauce is fairly smooth. Transfer the basil mixture into a bowl, add the Parmesan and mix well.
