Gilda Lollipops

These traditional Basque "lollipops" are full of flavor--strong flavor! The guindilla peppers used here are a Basque variety of pickled pepper that is often served with slices of ham and eaten whole. If you cannot find this kind of pepper, any pickled pepper will do.

15 guindilla peppers or other pickled peppers 

15 anchovies, drained 

15 pitted green olives 

Directions

Special equipment:
15 long toothpicks
  1. Skewer 15 toothpicks with a pepper, an anchovy and an olive. Arrange the assembled toothpicks on a platter.
