Over six weeks, the bakers face challenges that test both their technical ability and how well they can incorporate ingredients and flavors into their own baking vision. Food Network Star winner Jason Smith joins Marcela Valladolid on the judging panel, eliminating one baker at a time until only the most skilled and thrilling baker remains to win a $25,000 prize and be named Best Baker in America.
