Ching-He Huang explores Americans' favorite Chinese food and how it differs from the Chinese cuisine found in China. She makes Shrimp and Bacon Sesame Toast and General Tso's Chicken with Spiced Sesame Rice.

Sweet Chinese

Ching-He Huang sets out to show the unseen side of Chinese cuisine -- the delicious sweets. She is enlisted to prepare some Chinese-inspired desserts for a kid's party, and makes Egg Custard Tarts with Bananas and Caramel and Strawberry-Lychee Spring Rolls.

Ching-He Huang has a goal -- to make the vegetables the star of the plate! She takes a tour of restaurants with some unique vegetarian dishes, and then heads to Union Square Greenmarket to cook with a program for at-risk youth, making Egg-Fried Rice with Pickled Vegetables and Grilled Asian Vegetable Couscous.
