The pressure is on for Debi and Gabriele as they take over a Los Angeles restaurant and test out recipes for their new cookbook, including Linguine With Santa Barbara Spot Prawns, Saltimbocca Alla Romana, Sauteed Dandelion Greens and Lemon Sorbet, on some famous foodies -- including Susan Feniger.
In the chaos of just having moved into their new home, Debi and Gabo decide to throw a yard sale and invite the entire neighborhood, but not before Debi gives the chickens a bubble bath. Recipes include: Speck and Mustard Greens Pizza, Conchiglie With Guanciale and Peas, Fried Tuscan Olives, Limoncello Spritzer and Mascarpone and Wild Berry Tart.
In honor of Debi's late dog, Dolores, she's decided to host a fundraiser for a dog charity event in her new home inviting Kathy Griffin and other friends to come with their beloved pets while they enjoy Cavatappi al Vino, Figs Wrapped in Prosciutto With Gorgonzola and Brie, Panna Cotta and Schiacciata.
Debi and Gabriele prepare for a housewarming part by learning to make specialty cocktails, then don Bee Keeper outfits to carve out some fresh honeycomb for recipes, before coming home to host a housewarming dinner for friends. On the menu: Mascarpone Amaretti Cup, Roasted Beet Salad, Wood-Fired Leg of Lamb, Grande Spuntino and Arugula Mojito.
Debi is shocked when her 9-year-old daughter announces that all she wants for her birthday is to go skydiving. Gabriele finds a way to make it happen and surprises the family with an indoor skydiving experience. They enjoy Penne ai Quattro Formaggi, Leek and Potato Cake, Madeleines and Italian-Style Strawberry Shortcake.
The last season of Entourage has wrapped and Debi is sharing one final toast to the successful run with her co-star Adrian Grenier. She decides on a menu of fresh, organic ingredients picked up from a local urban farm. The menu -- homemade Ricotta served on crostini, Debi's Yellow Tomato Lumaconi, Insalata Di Fagiolini Verdi, and finished off Lemon Brule Tart. Adrian joins in by helping out in the kitchen stuffing Fried Squash Blossoms.
Debi and Gabriele make a quick lunch for their friend Robert and let him know that they've decided to set him up on a blind date, and open their home up for an introductory dinner. The menu: Duck Ragu With Homemade Pasta, plus their own sausages. To top it all off Debi is a making a Love Potion, a strawberry balsamic cocktail topped with Elderberry cream.
Debi and Gabriele track down their friend Joe Mantegna's old family recipes straight from Italy and make him a meal from his childhood. They also make artisanal Burrata cheese with an Italian friend. Then they astonish Joe and his wife with a meal straight from his memory: Heirloom Tomato Caprese with their own homemade Burrata cheese, a Sicilian specialty of Orange, Red and Olive Salad and Orechiette Al Ragu Di Braciole.
Debi surprises Gabrielle by wanting to learn how to cook pizza in the wood fire oven. Then it's off to a special event -- they've been invited as guests to the popular Los Angeles Motorcycle show and have decided to present a special lunch to event goers: Porchetta Sandwiches and Caprese Sandwiches, Pasta Primavera and a salad of Chopped Romaine Hearts With Salsa Verde.
Fun on the farm as Deb experiments with olive oil concoctions for beauty products and Gabrielle catalogs the trees on the farm. After some fun with olive oil they start a special meal to serve his Grandma Nola: Chicken Cacciatore, Mashed Potatoes With Olive Oil and Pancetta, Tapenade and Olive Oil Gelato.
The family takes to the road for an excellent artisan's adventure through Tuscany. They make cheese at an organic dairy farm, authentic bread with a baker and learn how to make fresh ravioli from an Italian Nonna. All these ingredients are turned into a feast back at Gabriele Corcos' mother's home featuring a menu of Pork Loin Alla Focettina, Tartello With Raveggiolo and Mixed Greens and Zucchine Trifolati.
The family heads out to the coast to escape the hot weather and enjoy the fruits of the sea. Gabriele Corcos and Debi Mazar go on a fishing trip and hook some Branzini for dinner. They grill a gorgeous meal from the sea on a fantastic oceanfront beach that sits directly in front of them with a menu of Branzino a Cartoccio, Cozze Alla Tarantina, Grilled Eggplant, Zucchini and Peppers, Pinzimonio, Annalisa's Speciale and Aperol Spritz.
Gabriele and Debi have been invited to put on a cooking demo at the prestigious Tuscan Sun Festival in Cortona. They whip up a Shrimp and Zucchini Risotto and a Peach and Fennel Salad for the festival goers. Then they go to the villa made famous by the book "Under The Tuscan Sun" to cook a special lunch of Straccetti con Speck e Porcini and Porcini Carpaccio for some important VIPs in the Italian culinary world.
