Donal will explore the dynamic city of Vietnam's capital, Hanoi. Soaking up the atmosphere, he travels by bike to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese wake-up call of egg coffee.
Donal heads to the north-west to meet the Red Dao tribe, one of the hill tribes of Sapa. Here the many different tribes congregate at a traditional market to trade animals, fruit, vegetables and rice wine.
In Hanoi, Donal witnesses the harvesting and preparation of the country's famous young green rice, which is only found in Hanoi, before whipping up his own sticky rice with caramelised salmon.
In Sapa, Vietnam, Donal has a traditional meal with a tribal family. The entire family helps prepare about twelve dishes, using almost every part of the pig.
