Monster Mashups

We're going eight rounds with the craziest mashups in America! Starting with a heavyweight beast known as the Pizzarito in New York and a delicious German restaurant placed right in the middle of Los Angeles' Koreatown. They're combining nachos with macaroni and cheese in Wisconsin, Mexican and Asian in Arizona and low-country boils with pizza in Chicago! Next, a restaurant dedicated to fries in Los Angeles is doing amazing things with s'mores and there's a brunch burger that has it all in Chicago. Finally, a creative spot in Philadelphia is mashing up dumplings with the classic Philly Cheesesteak.

The Brunch Bunch

It's Sunday Funday every day in Food Paradise so we're checking out the most extreme brunch spots in the United States! First, there's a doughnut burger that's bringing both sweet and savory to California and a restaurant in Arizona that offers a Bloody Mary with more options than a new car. We're indulging our sweet tooth with cookie pancakes in New Jersey, playing jazz with chicken and biscuits in Virginia and pairing chicken with funnel cakes in Washington, DC. Next, we're getting steak and eggs in pizza form in Detroit before smothering biscuits with mac and cheese in Orlando. Finally, we're enjoying brunch by the bay with Fried Oysters Benedict on Hilton Head Island.

Mangia Meals

We're taking our tongues on a tour of Italy without leaving the States starting with a pizza in New York that's as large as the city's Italian population. There's a colossal prosciutto calzone in Philly, perfect pasta in Michigan and an Italian hot dog in Vegas you'll have to see to believe. Next, there's a can't-miss steak-and-fondue Stromboli in New York and New-Jersey-style Italian deli sandwiches in San Francisco. Finally, we enjoy Italian comfort food in Miami and experience pure Parmesan decadence in Chicago.

Flame On!

We're firing up like an inferno and hitting a variety of dishes across the United States that have all the flame in their game! In Santa Monica, California, a burger joint is putting heat to their meat with a sauce made from guava and habanero peppers. A Charleston, South Carolina, barbecue pit turns low-and-slow brisket into a fiesta of flavors and a restaurant in Los Angeles torches everything they touch. There's a fire burning in a globe-trotting spot in Washington, DC, and a San Diego pizza joint makes waves with its wood-burning oven. We check out a spot in Nashville's red-hot restaurant scene and try a flaming dessert served in New York City. Finally, a San Diego restaurant flame-grills dreamy meats from their 22-ounce bone-in ribeye to their 14-ounce dry-aged pork chop.

Meaty Madness

We're getting to the meat of the matter as we chow down on some powerhouse proteins! For starters, a spot in Portland, Maine, is making dreams come true with a dish called the Meat Coma packed with smoked beef brisket, pork ribs, pork shoulder and house-made chili. Next, a restaurant in New Orleans is transforming classic po'boys into sky-high meaty masterpieces and it's meat madness in Milwaukee at a place that's grilling up outrageous midwestern mainstays. They're creating mouthwatering meat monuments in Denver and Texas excess meets Cali cool in Huntington Park, California. A meatball shop in New York City has something truly meat-tacular for your bucket list while a nearby Lebanese restaurant has the shawarma to warm-a your heart. Finally, a butcher shop and steakhouse come together in Houston to create memorable meatiness.

Outdoor Eats

Everything tastes better when it's eaten outside, and Food Paradise is here to fulfill your al fresco appetite. At Saltwater Cowboys in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, watch the shrimp boats come in while chowing down on BBQ pork trashcan nachos. Denver's Los Chingones serves up sky-high chimichangas with rooftop views of the Mile High City. Pub food goes Cali cool with al pastor fries on the lawn of Golden Road Brewing, and Austin's Easy Tiger Bake Shop and Beer Garden is serving up a venison cheddar hotlink by the cool creek.

Neighborhood Hangouts

From favorite friendly diners to special occasion restaurants, Food Paradise visits some of the coolest neighborhood hangouts that prove this local food is all good in the 'hood.' In Denver, Colorado, FNG flaunts their rock-and-roll-style cuisine with an elevated take on Gramma's meatloaf, while Little Nonna's in Philadelphia brings the great Italian family tradition of Sunday gravy to the masses. Pecan Lodge in Dallas joins massive stacks of Black Angus brisket and pulled pork on a fluffy bun for a BBQ sandwich as big as Texas itself. Finally, New Orleans Italian-Cajun fusion restaurant Liuzza's serves up a baguette-based muffuletta known as the Frenchuletta.

Guilty Pleasures

We're all about those indulgent dishes you shouldn't have too often! Starting in Portland, Oregon, we check out a food cart serving up a burger that's stacked with mozzarella sticks and fried fish. There's a savory-and-sweet shop in Louisville, Kentucky, serving a gravy-smothered doughnut sandwich and a 24-layer chocolate cake in New York City. Later, there's a guilty pleasure seafood pot pie in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, a monumentally huge pile of meat-and-cheese-covered curly fries in Riverside, California, and a lobster-stuffed burger topped with a lobster claw in Minneapolis. Finally, we're checking out Southern-fried chicken sandwiches in Los Angeles and mac-and-cheese pancakes in Queens, New York.

Extra Cheesy

We're going to the extreme digging into big food with even bigger flavor! We start at a place just northwest of Chicago where they're taking barbecue brunch fun to the extreme with a 15-pound feast that includes a menu's worth of food. Next, we're getting ready for a burger that towers over the competition in El Cajon, California, and getting down on a Stuffed Chicken Parm Pizza at an Italian spot in Oceanside, New York. Later, we get extreme food with a matching view in New York City, enjoying a semi-truck-tire-size pizza pie in San Antonio and enjoying a sugary sweet breakfast in Boston. Finally, we're having a 3-1/2-pound burrito in Naperville, Illinois, and visiting a modern-day Willy Wonka in Bethel, Connecticut.

Whether they're long links, plump patties or spicy little slices, everyone loves sausage and we're sampling the best the US has to offer! We're starting by checking out a chorizo burger in Jacksonville, Florida, and getting down on a sausage sampler at a pork haven in Portland, Maine. Next, we get a little New Orleans flavor with a Los Angeles restaurants' Cajun sausage po' boy before trying a wood-fired Venison Hot Dog in Austin, Texas. There's comfort food classics in Tacoma, Washington, a surf-and-turf sausage entree in Nashville and some meaty pizzas in Dallas. Finally, we're pairing sausage with beer at a unique eatery in Baltimore.
