Season 3, Episode 1

Rockin' Rolls on a Sushi Sunday

For any parent, the best part of cooking is sharing your creations with your family. So when the youngest Simmons daughter Miley reveals she's craving sushi for supper, Rev Run and Justine must dive into uncharted waters. They create a Japanese bounty including classic miso soup, tangy chicken teriyaki, and a simple salad with an explosive carrot-ginger dressing. Finally, they rock and roll by creating restaurant-worthy maki sushi rolls for the whole family.

Supper Por Favor

This week Justine is inspired by their recent travels to Mexico City and cooks up a menu of authentic Mexican street food. She makes tender carnitas tacos with her own roasted salsa verde and homemade guacamole. Rev Run and his manager Michael Lehman fire up the grill to create chicken quesadillas that are perfectly crisp and surprisingly smoky. Join the Simmons as they take Sunday Supper outside for a family fiesta.

Ravioli Revelations

This week, Justine uses her latest culinary skills by making homemade ravioli in the hopes of impressing her sister Chelle, who is a professional chef. Not to be outdone, Chelle whips up a colorful cheesy bruschetta. Finally, Rev Run masters dessert by creating a mouth-watering tiramisu, which is perfect way to end this gourmet Italian supper.

Patties of the Caribbean

This week, Justine's parents are coming for supper so the Simmons are inspired by Gramps' childhood in Trinidad to create a classic Caribbean meal. They whip up hearty beef patties, fiery Jamaican jerk chicken, and Gramps will bring the island vibe by teaching the family how to cook his famous rice and peas. On this Sunday supper, every little bite is going to be alright.

The High Tea Low Down

This week, Justine wants to recreate traditional English high tea, from flaky scones with strawberry jam to her favorite finger sandwiches - cucumber with herb butter, and smoked salmon with crème fraiche. But with Rev Run's buddy Perry coming over for dinner, the Reverend is worried that this British tradition may not be Perry's... cup of tea. To ensure that Perry is satisfied, the guys chip in and make their own finger sandwich - Parmesan meatball sliders!

Laidback Luau

Lately, Rev Run has been dreaming of feasting in a tropical paradise, but his wife Justine wants to enjoy time with the family at home. To satisfy them both, she hatches a plan to transform dinner into a Sunday Supper stay-cation by designing an at-home Hawaiian luau. Justine makes a Green Papaya Salad, and Rev's favorite banana leaf steamed pork. Since no luau would be complete without dessert, Justine finishes it off with a tropical banana-guava pie.

Rev's Cook-Off Challenge

Rev Run's manager Michael Lehman claims to be the grill master and his right hand man Perry is the self-proclaimed fry king. Rev decides to put their skills to test by having them cook their signature dishes, Michael's juicy beef tenderloin and Perry's crunchy fish fry for this Sunday supper. The Reverend also puts his best dish forward by making irresistible deep-fried hush puppies. With three chefs battling it out, everyone at the table is bound to be a winner.

Diggy Does Dinner

Over the years Justine and Rev have watched four children grow up and move out, so nothing makes them happier than when one of them returns for supper. With Diggy coming home for dinner, they design a menu to satisfy his healthy lifestyle: a perfectly seared glazed salmon with a refreshing mango salsa, parmesan roasted broccoli, and Justine's naturally sweet baked apples with homemade honey Greek yogurt. With so many nutritious and delicious dishes, this meal is sure to please the whole family.

Eat Play Love

Rev Run and his family decide to make some Bowling Alley snacks with a healthy twist for this Sunday Supper. The Rev and his son battle it out in the kitchen by making wings two ways; with classic buffalo flavors and Asian-inspired teriyaki sauce. They also whip up flavorful turkey kielbasa dogs topped with red onion sauce, and oven-roasted sweet potato fries with garlic aioli. This game night is sure to be a winner with great food, fun and family.

Date Night

The kids are out of this house this Sunday so Rev Run and his wife Justine take full advantage by recreating a meal from their early years of dating. Together, they prepare succulent cracked crab in a buttery garlic sauce, served with rich garlic noodles, and finished with a gourmet banana ice cream and fudge sauce. This is undoubtedly a romantic meal to remember.

Russy's Room Service

This week, Justine and Rev Run are treated like VIPs as Russy joins them in the kitchen to make a dinner inspired by a luxury hotel room service menu. Together, they design a savory gourmet club sandwich, crisp and golden onion rings, and end the night with a chocolate cake that dreams are made of. This hotel-worthy meal is one they'll want to enjoy over and over again.

Kitchen Tails

This week, Justine finagles her way into getting her sister Chelle's secret recipe of hearty braised oxtail. Justine also makes warm spoon rolls to soak up every ounce of the oxtail gravy, while Chelle introduces the family to a colorful carrot cabbage medley. Rev has a cuddly surprise of his own and the home is filled with love and laughter... not to mention a delicious meal that is one of a kind.

Old School Comfort Food

This week Justine is craving classic comfort foods, so decides to make her favorite fried chicken. Knowing how special this meal is, Rev invites his brother Danny to join them, as they recreate one of they most-loved suppers. To go along with the classic chicken, the family whips up smoky sauteed green beans with garlic and smoked paprika, and creamy cheddar cheese grits. The family reminisces about the past and looks towards the future on a special Sunday supper.
