California Dreamin and Southern Swagger
Lobster roll expert Sabin Lomac is searching for delicious seaside fare from all over the country. In Key West, he finds a beachfront restaurant serving fresh-daily red snapper Alfredo and a light grouper cake with a few surprises. Then at California's Del Mar State Beach, he tries a West Coast twist on clam chowder at Tackle Box. Then it's back down south to the Old 27 Grill in Fairhope, Ala., for the Holy Cow Burger with creamy au poivre sauce. Finally, in Miami, Fla., Sabin checks out Lulu's Nitrogen Ice Cream for the ultimate Goat Cheese and Guava Ice Cream with Graham Cracker Crumble.
