Who Made the Grade?

Season 1 ended in the summer of 2013. The cameras stopped rolling, but life's drama kept its course for Ben, Jasmine, Jared and Tiffany.

Jasmine

Jasmine is set to graduate from L.C.I. with a 3.3 GPA in April and plans to explore sales rep jobs while running her own catering company on the side.

She is engaged to be married next summer. Her daughter just turned 6.

Tiffany

Tiffany is no longer enrolled in L.C.I., but she is planning to start classes at the John Folse Culinary Institute. She is finishing her own recipe book called Breakfast @ Tiffany's.

April

Tiffany's daughter April was married in May in Hawaii and plans to attend culinary school there.

Tiffany's goal is to visit April in Hawaii to learn more about Asian-Pacific cuisine and possily start a family-run catering business that fuses that style with the Cajun food she grew up with.

Jared

Jared is set to graduate from L.C.I. in the next few months. He was one of three students to pass his nutrition certification. Since the show ended, he has gained real-world experience working at La Creole restaurant in Baton Rouge, La., and he intends to follow his dreams of cooking professionally after graduation.

Ben

Ben will graduate from L.C.I. alongside Jasmine and Jared. The final class is the one he's looked forward to most: Cajun and Creole cooking. Ben plans to open up his own mobile catering business after graduation. His baby just turned a year old.

Stroke of Luck

Ben and Jared were two of three students to be selected to cook at the PGA Championship this August.

Jared is hoping the PGA executive chef, also a former Marine, will retain his services for future golfing events.
