Season 4, Episode 4

Eggplant Parmesan

For Italian food in New York, look no further than the legendary Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. It is home to the acclaimed Mike's Deli, serving authentic Italian delicacies to everyone from real Italian grandmas to movie stars and politicians. Mike Greco began working here in 1951 and now his charismatic son Dave runs the place. Dave believes the reason for their success is the combination of his expert food knowledge, true Italian hospitality and his Eggplant Parmesan. Dave thinks he has been tapped to be the Food Network's guide to Arthur Avenue for a new show called "Culinary Streets." What he doesn't know is that Bobby Flay will be showing up for a personal tour and an Eggplant Parmesan Throwdown! Will Bobby be able to overcome years of tradition, or will Dave's Eggplant Parmesan continue to stand the test of time? It's up to our judges to make the ultimate decision in this Throwdown!
