In search of the ultimate eggplant dish, Tyler Florence heads to the Annual Loomis Eggplant Festival in California to learn about the different varieties. Then he travels to San Francisco's Chinatown, where Chef Martin Yan makes him Szechuan eggplant with garlic sauce. Finally, Tyler sets off to Sicily to learn all about fresh ingredients and Italian dishes featuring eggplant, and he makes his own culinary creation.
