This trail mix is inspired by mole, the savory Mexican sauce made with spices and chocolate. It's the perfect go-to snack for adventurous summer hikers: spicy, sweet and crunchy and as energizing as it is flavorful. The sesame clusters are great on their own as a snack.

Mix together the puffed grain, sesame seeds, agave, chipotle powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt and the cinnamon in a medium bowl. Spread the mixture in a thin layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake, stirring halfway through, until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Let cool completely, and break into bite-size clusters.
