Gold Bacon Dipped in Dark Chocolate

If this ever-changing world in which we live in ever makes you break down and cry, there's always a diverse array of exorbitant goodies you can buy to make yourself feel better. Today we have some mighty expensive bacon that is more suited for a California mountain in 1850 then a kitchen counter of the present. That's right. This bacon is covered in gold.

New York City's porky paradise Baconery has begun selling strips of bacon that are dipped in dark chocolate and then topped with 23k gold. Don't worry. It's still edible and, rumor has it, actually quite tasty. However, this brief foray into the good life will set you back a pretty penny. Just one strip of this big-ticket bacon costs $40. You can get a three-pack for around $100.
