Meet the Hosts

Robin Leach is best known for hosting his first show, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Since then he has built a career as an epicurean lifestyle expert. For Food Quest he is joined by model Kim Alexis for a global culinary adventure.

Chateau d'Esclans

In Season One, Robin and Kim pay a visit to Chateau d’Esclans, a sprawling estate in the Provence region of France and home to the winemaker who is producing some of the best rosé on the market today.  They meet owner and wine industry expert Sacha Lichine to learn about his process and taste his wines.

The Finest Rosé in the World

The Garrus rosé from Chateau d’Esclans is known as the most expensive rosé in the world.  The grapes used in Garrus are grown on an 80-year-old vine atop a hill in Provence.

Spanish Olive Plantation

Food Quest will take viewers on a culinary adventure to a family-owned olive plantation in southern Spain to learn about ideal growing conditions and the harvesting process.

From Farm to Table

Local Spanish factories clean and pit the olives. Then a team of food scientists test the quality of the jarred olives before shipping them to consumers around the world.

Los Cabos, Mexico

At the very tip of the Baja California peninsula, desert landscapes meet the bright blue waters of the Sea of Cortez and Pacific Ocean.  Robin and Kim visit the Grand Velas resort in Los Cabos to experience the unparalleled dining experiences the resort has to offer.

Lobster Tacos

Chef Juan Licerio joins Kim for lunch at VELAS 10, to sample his lobster tacos which are served tableside on a personal-sized grill.  The Grand Velas Los Cabos resort has eight restaurants and four bars that offer guests varied culinary experiences for each night of their stay.
