  • 6 ounces diet lemon-lime soda
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce lime juice
  • Crushed ice, as needed
  • Lime slice, for serving, optional

Directions

Combine powdered drink mix, soda, tequila, and lime juice in a glass or shaker. Stir to dissolve the drink mix.

Pour into a margarita glass with lots of crushed ice. Finish it off with a slice of lime on the rim of the glass, if using. Time to enjoy!

    My claim to fame amongst my friends. I added a 1/2 oz each of citron and gran marnier. I know this adds extra calories, but it turns out pretty tasty!

    Very good! I used a splash of sour mix rather than diet lemonaid as that's all I had on hand. If you like it sweeter just use agave instead of sugar, but I love my margaritas with PUCKER POWER!

    Also, only use 100% agave tequila!!! Trust me, I'm from Texas. It's pure (no grain alcohol watering it down and won't give you a headache. Yay!
