ingredients

  • 8 mint leaves
  • 2 lime slices
  • 2 1/2 ounces sugar cane juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces white rum, such as Myers's White
  • 1/2 ounce pure cane syrup, such as Monin
  • 1/4 ounce fresh lime juice
  • Splash soda water

Directions

Muddle the mint leaves and fresh lime in a cocktail shaker. Add the sugar cane juice, rum, cane syrup and lime juice and shake well. Pour into a 12-ounce glass and top with soda water.
