Directions

Melt the butter with the garlic. Remove from the heat and allow to infuse. Heat the oil in a large pot and add the popcorn, tossing to coat. Cover and shake the pot over high heat until all the kernels have popped. Remove the garlic from the butter and pour the butter over the popcorn. Toss. Sprinkle with the herbes de provence, celery salt and salt, and toss again. Voila.

    OMG this is so much better than any microwave version! Not to mention you control the quality of the ingredients. First time we made this it was too much for 2 people.. . This time we have cut the recipe in half. Perfect with a glass of red! Cheers

    This is absolutely FABULOUS!!! I'm still licking my fingers as I type, LOL! I too saw this while watching the show and picked up popcorn a few days later at my local farmers' market. I made it as instructed, adding more garlic as well and my entire family-twin 14 y/o boys, 6 y/o boy and 5 y/o boy-LOOOOVED it!! They have been requesting it again for some time and this evening, my 5 y/o brought me the bag of popcorn asking, "Mommy, can you pleeeeeeease make that Frenchy popcorn again?!" The entire time the popcorn cooked, he kept reminding me to make it "Frenchy." I'd say this is a keeper!!!
